We operate the website www.ragusatransfer.com and provide private transfer and chauffeur services in Dubrovnik and the wider region. 2. What data we collect

When you book a transfer or contact us, we collect the following personal data: • Full name (first and last name) • Phone number (via WhatsApp) • Email address (if you contact us by email) • Travel details: date, time, route, number of passengers • Flight number (for airport pickups, to track delays) • Hotel or pickup address We do not collect payment card data. Payments are handled in cash or via card terminal at the end of the journey — no card data passes through our website.

3. How we use your data

We use your personal data solely for the following purposes: • Confirming and fulfilling your transfer booking • Communicating with you before, during and after your transfer (via WhatsApp, phone or email) • Monitoring your flight for delays (airport transfers only) • Sending booking confirmations and driver details • Responding to enquiries We do not use your data for marketing purposes unless you have explicitly opted in. We do not sell, rent or share your personal data with third parties for commercial purposes.

4. Legal basis for processing

We process your personal data on the following legal bases under GDPR: • Contract performance (Article 6(1)(b)) — processing your booking details is necessary to fulfil your transfer contract • Legitimate interests (Article 6(1)(f)) — communicating with you about your booking and ensuring a safe, reliable service • Legal obligation (Article 6(1)(c)) — retaining records as required by Croatian tax and business law

5. How long we keep your data

We retain booking data for a maximum of 3 years from the date of your transfer, as required by Croatian accounting and tax regulations (Zakon o računovodstvu). WhatsApp conversation history is stored on our device and WhatsApp servers in accordance with WhatsApp's own data retention policies. After the retention period, all personal data is securely deleted.

6. WhatsApp communications

Most of our bookings and communications are handled via WhatsApp (Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd.). When you contact us via WhatsApp, your data is also processed by Meta in accordance with their Privacy Policy. We use WhatsApp strictly for booking purposes — confirming transfers, sending driver details, and communicating about your journey. We will never add you to group chats, broadcast lists, or send you unsolicited messages.

7. Cookies and analytics

Our website (www.ragusatransfer.com) currently does not use tracking cookies or third-party analytics services. No personal data is collected simply by visiting our website. If we introduce analytics tools in the future, we will update this policy and obtain your consent where required.

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorised access, loss or disclosure. Booking data is stored on secured devices with access limited to authorised personnel only. All communication via WhatsApp is end-to-end encrypted by default.
